From industry influencers to 8th grade pianists, from marathon runners to expert cake makers our employee spotlight is designed to shine a light on just a few of the talented individuals who make up #teamnetworx. This month we had the opportunity to sit down with Assistant Operations Team Manager, Natasha Stewart and asked her the following questions:

How long have you worked at networx?

8 year this year! When you work in such a busy department it’s hard to keep track – had to think then! There has been lots of fun along the way though and have worked with some great team members.

What does your job entail?

As Assistant Operations Team Manager I support the day to day running of the recruitment services team and ensure that the team can successfully source and attract the best available talent on behalf of our clients. Our first time fill rate is currently at 98% and we are focussed on maintaining this.

I also have a number of my own clients who I directly support and manage. I advise my clients on how and where they should be advertising their roles, write engaging job adverts for them and proactively search for candidates who have the skills and experience they are looking for. Once the candidates start to apply, I manage all communications and enquiries, conduct an initial shortlist stages and then book and arrange any interviews. However the level of support I offer really does depend on the role in question and the clients needs. I can also collate interview feedback and support offer negotiations to minimise counter offers etc.

In line of the recent recruitment challenges, Facebook and Linkedin advertising has also become very popular and therefore has become a key element of my role now. I create content and manage client budgets in order to maximise reach, clicks and engagement. I really love this part of my job as it offers a chance to get creative with some content. Myself and some other team members have also recently taken courses on both Facebook and Linkedin advertising to further our knowledge and it’s also been something that our team have worked on for a long time to provide the most up to date and unique offerings to our clients.

I am also NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Equality & Diversity qualified so am responsible for advising on best practice where needed.

What do you like most about your job?

Filling roles! Especially if the client has been struggling to fill it via other methods. Whilst it’s really satisfying to fill any role I manage, I think the sense of achievement is always heightened for the more senior roles. It’s great to notify our clients of the savings they have reaped by using our services too.

What is one food that you cannot resist?

CHEESE – I absolutely love it!! The more cheese the merrier! I love a good cheese board with a glass of wine.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

I would like to learn to play the piano (well). I’m not sure how good I would be at it but I would definitely like to try. I think there’s just something really amazing about hearing someone play the piano really well.

If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?

I’d give some to all my family but then the bulk of it i’d buy a farm in the lake district. I love animals and i love the Lake District – so it would be the perfect combination for me! We have all the usual animals but then I’d open a dog kennels there too. I have 3 dogs already, so I might as well look after everyone else’s too! Lots of lovely scenic walks to take them on in such a beautiful area. The Lakes is one of my favourite places that we visit  often, it’s a childhood family tradition to go stay there, so I’ve been going religiously since being little.

The continued success of networx is a direct result of the people we employ and every member of the team plays an integral part in our ability to deliver innovative and market leading recruitment solutions.
